I support Sue! She has been a great friend of the NFRW (National Federation of Republican Women) and I believe she has done an outstanding job as Georgia Chair. Please vote for Sue!!! Thanks. (Sue Lynch has already made one trip to GA to promote Sue Everhart and plans another one before the May 14 Convention.)
Reta Hamilton - National Committeewoman to RNC from Arkansas
May 4, 2011
To the Voting Body of the Georgia Republican Party:
It is indeed an honor to recommend Chairman Sue Everhart and support her reelection campaign. I met Chairman Everhart before she was elected State Chairman and early on recognized her vast talents and abilities.
State Chairman Sue Everhart is highly regarded within the RNC and over the past years was asked to make major presentations regarding the Georgia Republican Party, particularly after the historic wins in the 2010 elections. One only has to read the February 22, 2011 comprehensive recap of the landmark victories in Georgia, to appreciate the leadership of Chairman Everhart. The record speaks for itself. Sue is a PROVEN WINNER!
Georgia and this great nation is at a major crossroad in our history. Is this really the time to go out on a limb with untested leadership as we go into the 2012 Presidential elections? I think the common sense answer is "NO"! There is too much at stake to take a chance. Sue is STILL THE ONE.
I encourage each of you to revisit and restudy the recap of your Georgia victories in 2010, then confidently vote for the continued leadership of Chairman Sue Everhart, who along with you will be instrumental in the retaking of the White House in the 2012 elections.
Warmest regards,
Reta Hamilton

The Republican Party needs experienced and proven leadership now more than ever, because we are such an overwhelming majority at all levels of state government and because we have a majority of our state federal representation. The importance of the 2012 presidential election is vital.Chairman Sue Everhart has provided the leadership and the expertise that has made Georgia an outstanding Republican state. She has bought state-of-the-art technical equipment, raised millions of dollars for candidates, and provided training for volunteers. This is certainly not the year to train new leadership that has not previously served on the Executive Committee of the Georgia Republican Party.
I enthusiastically support Sue for another term as Chairman.
Margaret Holliman (left), Past President GFRW
many party positions over the years, and delegate to 3 National GOP ConventionI support Sue for re-election because she has done a terrific job, and this is a time for experienced grass roots leadership. The GOP chairman should have loyalty to the party and not to one person. (on right is Betty Voyles of North Fulton who is also a long time friend of Sue.)
Helen von Waldner, Past President of the Georgia Federation of Republican Women
Sue has come up from the "grass roots" of the Georgia Republican Party. She has earned her leadership positions along the way by her hard work and continuing efforts in behalf of Georgia Republicans. She has done an excellent job as state chairman and I am looking forward to having her serve another term in that position.
Reva Jennings, Forsyth County
Past President of the Georgia Federation of Republican Women and State Committee
Sue is tried and true! With the upcoming REDISTRICTING and 2012 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION--now is not the time for "ON-THE-JOB-TRAINING". We have that with our current PRESIDENT. How's that working for us? Besides, I didn't know our Republican Party was for sale! Say it's not so!!!!
Jean Blackstone - Former officer in GFRW and former Clarke County GOP Chairman - Athens, GA
I am supporting Sue Everhart in every way that I can. I resent the Governor's interference in what is strictly a party issue.
Ron Johnson, Jackson County GOP former Chair
3rd Vice Chair GA GOP 10th district
State Committee
As the former Chair of the Jackson County GOP this email will serve as my
endorsement of Sue Everhart for State Chair. Sue has also ask me to be a Floor
Leader for her at the convention and I have accepted this position with honor.
My reason for this endorsement is experience in GOP Leadership. Sue began
as a Grassroots worker many years ago became a Precinct Leader, County Chair,
District Chair, 1st Vice Chair of the State GOP and now has served two (2) terms
as the State Chair. Under her leadership this State has gone from Democrat
control to Republican control in every State office. What more could she have
done? In 2012 we have a very important election and we do not need anyone going
through OJT during this important time. Running a Political Party is much
different than running any other organization.
I ask you to vote for Sue at the Convention.
Thank you

Dear Ms Everhart:
It is a pleasure to offer you the support of the Georgia Christian Coalition for your reelection as Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party.

GOP Fulton County long-time activist Vicki Willard endorsed Everhart. "Sue has been on the ground doing the hard work for years," Willard said. "She is the quintessential grassroots candidate." Willard said that Everhart's contact list runs deep. "Sue can pick up the phone and get the help she needs from Ellijay to Tifton," Willard said. "Why reinvent the wheel? Everhart created the wheel."

I think Sue has worked very hard for our "STATE" and has raised lots of money and a true blue lady that is not in the race just for a position. Her heart and soul is in this and has our state and country as her primary focus. Lets get this great lady re-elected, and she will do a great service to all concerned. Sue has worked tirelessly to build the GAGOP into the powerhouse it has become. During the years I headed up the Christian Coalition and the Georgia Christian Alliance , Sue was always there to help when needed. When I was a recipient of the Sue Everhart award in the CCRWC, it was a very special honor. This award is given in honor of a lady who devoted numerous hours to the GOP cause. As a grassroots volunteer, party chair and state chairperson, Sue understands what it takes to win from the ground up. Sue does not shrink from her responsibilities and personally sacrifices for the good of the grassroots. She has earned the position she now holds and I look forward to her next two years as the GA GOP chair. Sue has and will continue to represent GA with integrity and honor.

Sue has a proven record of accomplishments, she has put the State Republican Party in the best shape financially and politically as it has ever been. That, my friend is why I am voting for Sue. It is my esteem honor to endorse and support Sue Everhart for GA GOP Chairman! I have known
and WORKED with Sue on Republican projects, campaigns and fund-raisers for over 20 years.
Sue exemplifies all the true qualities of a real grassroots Leader. She has worked her way up in
the Party and learned along the way what it takes to lead the great GOP Party in Georgia. We
need Sue to lead us against the Obama Machine in 2012... there is no time for "on the job" training going into this critical election for our State and our Nation. Sue has my whole hearted support!
Drs. Stan and Cindye Coates - Cobb County
We strongly support Sue and there is no reason whatsoever why she should not complete her 3rd term. The future must not be built on mere technology but on wisdom and long-term experience. Sue is a business woman who has run a bank and her late husband’s medical practice. As a retired widow and mother of an adult son, Sue has the time and focus to pour resources into the Party. Furthermore, we have seen Sue work graciously with people who oppose her. She is our Iron Lady, our Steel Magnolia, a class act; who is transparent, honest, and selfless. When Sue makes a mistake, she owns it and moves forward. This is rare and we have not seen this is the other 2 candidates who are challenging her. We say, “ If it’s not broke, don’t fix it! Sue is the one!” Drs. Stan & Cindye Coates – COBB GOP
Toria Morgan, Cobb County
State Committee Member
I support Sue Everhart as our GA GOP Chairman.
Sue is a tireless worker who receives no pay for her work with the GaGOP . Sue understands our Republican Party values are the way to achieve the American Dream and inspires others to the same belief. Our GaGOP is successful because for Sue, the Chairmanship is not a title, it’s a way of life.
Sue has been in the trenches for over two decades and works tirelessly for the Republican Party. In the last 4 years she traveled all over the state, visiting every district and most of the counties, meeting with candidates, grassroots activist, and donors. Through Sue’s efforts and hard work, as well as the efforts and hard work of the grassroots, we, the GaGOP, were successful in the Georgia 2008 and 2010 elections.
Under Sue’s leadership the party raised over 9 million dollars. In addition to electing more Republicans than ever before in Georgia’s history, Sue updated the state office to reflect the multimillion dollar business it has become and still has money in the bank to cover operating expenses.
In Georgia we currently have a State Chairman that Republican National Committee members all over the country want to clone. Why in the world would we consider replacing her?
We need to keep Sue Everhart as our State Chairman.
Sue is STILL the One!
Scott Chadwick - Marietta, GA
I strongly support Sue, but I must say that Ms. Pridemore has been cordial and responsive to my comments. This in no way affects my support of Sue, who is a long-time friend. I just think it is highly inadvisable --and, frankly, impolitic-- for Deal to oppose someone who was so instrumental in his victory. His treatment of Sue leaves an unpleasant taste in my mouth.
- Darryl O Wilson, Sr - Cobb County
Immediate Past 1st Vice Chair - Cobb County Republican Party
Cobb County Republican PartyIn the last two years as 1st Vice Chair of Cobb County GOP, I have seen a lot.
With untold hours of volunteer time, literally leaving blood and sweat in the earth for GOP victories and seeing hundreds more do the same, the oddity of the current events in Cobb is both curious and troublesome.
From the intense in-fighting in the Governor primary, to the sudden awakening of Democrats jumping ship to the GOP after the Barnes beat down, we should have unity in Cobb and in Georgia, like never before.
It is under the framer's guide of becoming a more perfect union that I write to declare my support.
As a Naval officer during wartime , commanding a strategic platform, we often play out scenarios that require gravity and foresight.
Make no mistake, the morning of May 15, will reveal our own likelihood to have clarity about our future here in Georgia.
After thoughtful consideration, internal reflection and prayer, I have decided to endorse Sue Everhart for the state party chair.
Shawn Hanley comes in a close second.
I could detail more about this decision, and will do so for those who inquire, in personal spaces.
But for now, with eyes steadfast to the shining house on the hill; for winning the Presidency in 2012; for the assuredness that as a nation we remain a people with a government instead of a nation, or state, that is a government with people; for all the right influences that earmark the sweat of your brow; rather than our wallets and our pocketbooks; for wisdom, justice, moderation and courage as an open door to good government...
There is only one best choice to support.

Sue is the ONLY one to lead us in 2011 and 2012 – our two most critical
years EVER! To quote someone very knowledgeable on this topic. . .
The numbers are really impressive. Chair Sue Everhart's Georgia Republican Party coordinated 700,000 volunteer phone calls, distributed 100,000 yard signs and 300,000 door hangers, sent 103,000 mail pieces, made 34 television buys, trained 250 activist leaders, and visited 25 cities as part of the Real Jobs for Georgia Bus Tour. To make all that happen, Sue Everhart and her finance team raised millions of dollars .... Georgia Republicans should thank their lucky stars for the Chair that they have.

1st Vice Chairman Union County Republican PartyGeorgia Election Board OfficialI am supporting Sue Everhart for re-election as Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party. My candidate, Sue, is the most experienced candidate we have. She started with her local party and WORKED her way to the Chairman position, learning the ins and outs of the party as she went. She did not just work for a candidate and then decide to run for the top position in the state, without firsthand knowledge of how the party should be guided. When I needed local party questions answered, and advice, I called Sue and she not only answered my questions and advised me, she called back and got someone else involved who could help. Sue is not only accessible, she is a very knowledgeable chairman and the very best person to be elected (re-elected) as Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party..MY VOTE IS FOR SUE AND YOURS SHOULD BE, TOO!Dottie

"I am proud to endorse my friend and fellow conservative, Sue Everhart, for Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party. I have seen her hard-work and dedication to the GOP as an activist, and at every level of leadership she has held. Sue is one of us. She is the grassroots candidate with real and proven experience to lead. Under Sue's leadership, the Georgia GOP has become a major force in conservative politics in the United States, and she has the experience and vision to lead Georgia to victory in 2012, the most important election of our lifetime.Sue was fighting for the values of the Tea Party before there was a Tea Party. She is a staunch supporter of the core values of fiscal responsibility, Constitutionally limited government, and free markets. She has been at every Atlanta Tea Party event we have ever held, and even gave a send-off speech for the historic 9-12 March on Washington. She has always offered her support, but has always abided by our wishes to not try and co-opt the Tea Party, which is one major reason why it has flourished in Georgia. Sue is a true patriot in every sense of the word, and I am honored to support her."
Pat Quigley - Duluth, GA - Gwinnett County
I am a political activist and precinct chairman from Gwinnett County and active in Georgia politics since 1994. I am supporting Sue because she is the most experienced and knowledgeable of how the party is and should be run. She is also the least likely, among
the three candidates in the race, to be influenced by outside interests, political or otherwise.
Debbie Dooley - Gwinnett County
Atlanta Tea Party Co-founder
"I am happy to endorse long time friend Sue Everhart for Georgia GOP Chairman. She has been involved with get out the vote activites for over two decades and is a tireless worker. She is an expert in navigating the treacherous waters of campaign finance laws. She has created a well oiled get-out -the-vote machine for the Georgia Republican party since she has been serving as Chairman, and that will be vital in the upcoming election in 2012.Now is not the time to elect a Chairman that will require on-the-job training. We need continuity and experience to fight the massive get out the vote machine President Obama and the Democrats will engage for the 2012 election. Re-electing Sue Everhart as Chairman of the Georgia GOP will give us a jump start to 2012 and that will give us a big advantage . She has earned the right to serve the final term allowed by Georgia GOP rules.
Sue has a history of standing up for the grassroots, even at times risking the wrath of powerful elected officials in order to do so.
After helping organize the first tea party held in Atlanta on February 27, 2009, Sue reached out to me and offered to assist us in any way she could. I requested that the GOP keep their distance from us, and they did. Sue always assisted when asked and was privately very supportive of the tea party's goals."

My name is Peg Murray - Gwinnett County
I have been involved with GOP politics for the past 12 years and have held numerous local, state, and district positions during that time. I support Sue Everhart fully. Not just because she is a friend and respected leader (and mentor) but also because Sue Everhart is Earth, Wind, and Fire and needs to continue in the Chairman’s job another two years. Let me explain:Earth: Sue came up from the grassroots, the earth. She knows what it is like to lick an envelope and affix a stamp or hold a sign on a street corner
Wind: She has energy that overflows from the passion she has for the work to be done, and the work that needs to be done. The Wind is at her back.
Fire: She can burn the candle at both ends and cajoles votes, money, and allegiance all for the right reasons, and from all groups.
On a personal note, Sue has touched the lives of more working Republicans in the State of Georgia than any previous Chairman. She is not an elitist, but knows them as well. We will be well served to have this great woman at our helm
Joan Zellner -- Gwinnett County
I am a strong supporter of Sue Everhart for Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party. It is my belief that Sue has been a great Chairman for the grassroots. She came out of the grassroots and understands us. In addition, how can anyone complain about the results accomplished during her tenure. She has been able to raise large sums for the Party, even in this economy, greatly improved the technology and had great success in maintaining and increasing Republican seats for the State of Georgia. She deserves this last term she can serve under the Rules. Go Sue!

Thanks for being there when the Grassroots need you! I admire how you handled the last election with six GOP ‘egos’ to balance. Stella Lohmann is a former broadcast journalist, member of the Atlanta Press Club, Conservative columnist/blogger known on radio and at tea parties as "The Freedom Czar"."If Georgia Republicans want this state to remain "RED" in 2012, we must have a leader who knows, understands, and has proven consistent experience in every aspect of the political process. Sue Everhart has been the 'boots on the ground' for many years in grassroots cultivation, management, and growth. Like many conservatives, labels and titles are insignificant when selecting leaders; it's about integrity to principles and passion.
In the more than twelve years that I have known Sue, she remains one of the most reliable models of citizen activism working tirelessly in any capacity entrusted to her with humility and grace. The fact of the matter is Sue gets results. It would be difficult to travel within Conservative circles in Georgia without someone having a story to tell about working on a winning team with Sue. As chair of the GAGOP Sue Everhart has made outreach to the Georgia Republican grassroots a priority. Whether you live in Atlanta, Savannah, Augusta, Macon, Columbus, or any other part of the state under Sue Everhart's leadership, the party was reached out to Republicans throughout Georgia.
Because of Sue's outreach to all Georgia Republicans, focused training programs, and successful fundraising, the GAGOP entered the 2010 election cycle positioned to win! And win we did despite contentious primaries, our party came together and brought in a Clean Sweep of all
state offices on election night!
We need Sue Everhart to keep the Georgia GOP grassroots growing!
P.S. May 5, 2011: I am 100% behind Sue. She is absolutely the best choice for State Party Chair!!!

I support Sue Everhart’s re-election as State Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party. As State Treasurer, I have served with five State Chairmen - four men and one woman. In four years as State Chairman, Sue proved her ability to manage the State Party, raise a lot of money, work with elected officials and yet remain connected to the grassroots that elected her.
Sue rose to her current role out of the grassroots based on very hard work and service to the GAGOP at every level. Like the tag line in a commercial many of us will remember, Sue became State Chairman the old-fashioned way, she EARNED it.
Sue Everhart governs her life and service by conservative principles. She understands and respects the role of the grassroots. Sue recognized early the message and values of the Tea Parties and embraced rather than marginalized them. In her four years as State Chairman, Sue has traveled over 100,000 miles back and forth across Georgia sharing the Republican message and supporting local Republican organizations.Sue understands that to win elections, there has to be a solid foundation, and in today’s political environment, that must include technology. That is why Sue formed the Technology Committee and invested over $140,000
to totally rebuild the State GOP’s hardware infrastructure. Recognizing the importance of the Internet, Sue challenged the State Party staff to revamp the website, newsletter, and to use Twitter and Facebook. Under Sue’s leadership, the State Party brought to Georgia the phone banking technology used to elect Scott Brown to fill Ted Kennedy’s vacant seat. It was used across Georgia to support the ticket and was made available at minimal cost to Republican candidates. As for the other two individuals that are announced as running for State Chairman, both of them are fairly new to Georgia Republican politics. I first heard of Shawn Hanley when he ran for Fulton County Chair four years ago. I didn’t know Tricia Pridemore until just last summer when Sue asked her to serve on the Technology Committee that I chaired. I can’t speak to their values or qualifications because I really don’t know them. What I do know is that neither of them comes close to matching Sue Everhart and her demonstrated results as State GAGOP Chairman.

Jerry and Bonnie Loupee - Savannah
Jerry is a Past Chairman of the Chatham County Party.
We heartily endorse Sue for reelection as the State Party Chair. She has done a tremendous job during her tenure, working with the grassroots as well as at the top levels.
Why would anyone wish to replace her after under her leadership we have just had the most successful Republican election in the State's history! And we now face a very important race in 2012. Sue's the One!
Art Gunter - - Past 1st Congressional District Chairman

Virginia Galloway is a long-time GOP activist and leader in the Republican Party. She is one of the organizers of the first Atlanta Tea Party, and travels throughout Georgia conducting Tea Party training. She is a former GOP County Chairman, and former member of the Georgia Republican Party State Committee."As one of the original Tea Party organizers in Georgia, I support Chairwoman Sue Everhart. She supported the Tea Parties from the beginning, attending the 2007 Atlanta Tax Day Tea Party. She has proven that she can organize to raise funds, train activists, and lead the GAGOP to victory. I remember working with her on campaigns 15 years ago. She was a volunteer in the trenches, serving in many different capacities, then chosen by the grassroots for leadership. There is no room for error in 2012 - Sue's clearly the best choice."
"Why mess with success?""The events of past 3 years have made clear to all of us the importance of integrity, common sense, meaningful experience, and authenticity in our leaders. Sue Everhart is the only GA GOP Chair candidate who embodies all of these qualities, and who has worked equally well with the long-standing party members and with the newest grass roots members-the 912 and Tea Party groups.
As a 2+ year leader of the Atlanta 912 Group, and a major volunteer for the Fulton Cty Republican Party during the 2008 election cycle, I spent significant time with the other Chair candidates, Ms. Pridemore and Mr. Hanley. Sue Everhart is in my opinion, the only candidate we can trust to uphold conservative values and the mission of the Republican party. Her record says success and she personally exudes integrity, inclusion, competence, and strength.
I am proud to endorse Sue Everhart for GA GOP Chair."
Teresa Chappell - Atlanta
Sue has done a phenomenal job for Georgia as State Party Chair. Not only has she expanded the base of the Party she has reached out in areas of the State that had little GOP support in the past. The non-traditional GOP support is beginning to spring up in places where we didn't have support for many years. Thanks to Sue's leadership that is starting to change. True leadership knows what it takes to get the job done and Sue certainly has a proven track record of accomplishments!
DeLois Babiker -- Atlanta
I am supporter of Sue Everheart for Georgia GOP Chairman because of her extensive experience and successful past performance as the current Georgia GOP Chairman. Sue has demonstrated leadership to ability motivate, champion and empower people with the skill sets to support GA GOP team to win 2012. Her special weapon is her ability to challenge difficult situation with a “velvet kid glove”. Marcia Boone - Atlanta
"Sue IS the one for me. Working to get her elected. She is a true grass roots worker--what we need. Experience counts a lot in this race. Go with a proven leader."
Sue --- you have done so much for the Republican Party in Georgia the whole country owes you a Huge Thank You. May you continue!
Best wishes,
Patsy Excell -- Treasurer, Washington Federation of Republican Women and long-time Precinct Committee Officer in Thurston County, Washington
Note: Sue is very popular with many Republican women across the nation. Because of her reputation as a very successful GA GOP Chairman, she was invited to speak at the National Federation of Republican Women's National Convention in Orlando in September 2009. She also conducted a workshop on Women in Politics which was very well received. Since then, Sue has been invited to a number of states to speak to Republican women and other groups.
