It is indeed an honor to recommend Chairman Sue
Everhart and support her reelection campaign. I
met Chairman Everhart before she was elected State
Chairman and early on recognized her vast talents
and abilities.
State Chairman Sue Everhart is highly regarded
within the RNC and over the past years was asked to
make major presentations regarding the Georgia
Republican Party, particularly after the historic
wins in the 2010 elections. One only has to read
the February 22, 2011 comprehensive recap of the
landmark victories in Georgia, to appreciate the
leadership of Chairman Everhart. The record speaks
for itself. Sue is a PROVEN WINNER!
Georgia and this great nation is at a major
crossroad in our history. Is this really the time
to go out on a limb with untested leadership as we
go into the 2012 Presidential elections? I think
the common sense answer is "NO"! There is too much
at stake to take a chance. Sue is STILL THE ONE.

recap of your Georgia victories in 2010, then

1st Vice Chair of Cobb County GOP, I have seen a
lot.
With untold hours of volunteer time, literally
leaving blood and sweat in the earth for GOP
victories and seeing hundreds more do the same, the
oddity of the current events in Cobb is both curious
and troublesome.
From the intense in-fighting in the Governor
primary, to the sudden awakening of Democrats
jumping ship to the GOP after the Barnes beat down,

perfect union that I write to declare my support.
As a Naval officer during wartime , commanding a

here in Georgia.
After thoughtful consideration, internal reflection
and prayer, I have decided to endorse Sue Everhart
for the state party chair.
Shawn Hanley comes in a close second.
I could detail more about this decision, and will do
so for those who inquire, in personal spaces.
But for now, with eyes steadfast to the shining
house on the hill; for winning the Presidency in
2012; for the assuredness that as a nation we remain
a people with a government instead of a nation, or
state, that is a government with people; for all the
right influences that earmark the sweat of your
brow; rather than our wallets and our pocketbooks;
for wisdom, justice, moderation and courage as an
open door to good government...
There is only one best choice to support.

candidate we have. She started with her local
party and WORKED her way to the Chairman
position, learning the ins and outs of the party
as she went. She did not just work for a
candidate and then decide to run for the top
position in the state, without firsthand
knowledge of how the party should be
guided. When I needed local party questions

Earth:
Sue came up from the grassroots, the earth. She

She can burn the candle at both ends and cajoles

support Sue Everhart’s re-election as State Chairman
of the Georgia Republican Party. As State
Treasurer, I have served with five State Chairmen -
four men and one woman. In four years as State
Chairman, Sue proved her ability to manage the State
Party, raise a lot of money, work with elected
officials and yet remain connected to the grassroots
that elected her.
Sue rose to her current role out of the grassroots
based on very hard work and service to the GAGOP at
every level. Like the tag line in a commercial many
of us will remember, Sue became State Chairman the
old-fashioned way, she EARNED it.
Sue Everhart governs her life and service by
conservative principles. She understands and
respects the role of the grassroots. Sue recognized
early the message and values of the Tea Parties and
embraced rather than marginalized them. In her four
years as State Chairman, Sue has traveled over
100,000 miles back and forth across Georgia sharing
the Republican message and supporting local
Republican organizations.
Sue
understands that to win elections, there has to be a
solid foundation, and in today’s political
environment, that must include technology. That is
why Sue formed the Technology Committee and invested
over $140,000
to totally rebuild the State GOP’s hardware
infrastructure. Recognizing the importance of the
Internet, Sue challenged the State Party staff to
revamp the website, newsletter, and to use Twitter
and Facebook. Under Sue’s leadership, the State
Party brought to Georgia the phone banking
technology used to elect Scott Brown to fill Ted
Kennedy’s vacant seat. It was used across Georgia
to support the ticket and was made available at
minimal cost to Republican candidates.
As for
the other two individuals that are announced as
running for State Chairman, both of them are fairly
new to Georgia Republican politics. I first heard
of Shawn Hanley when he ran for Fulton County Chair
four years ago. I didn’t know Tricia Pridemore
until just last summer when Sue asked her to serve
on the Technology Committee that I chaired. I
can’t speak to their values or qualifications
because I really don’t know them. What I do know is
that neither of them comes close to matching Sue
Everhart and her demonstrated results as State GAGOP
Chairman.

phenomenal job for Georgia as State Party
Chair. Not only has she expanded the base of
the Party she has reached out in areas of the
State that had little GOP support in the past.
The non-traditional GOP support is beginning to
spring up in places where we didn't have support

is starting to change. True leadership knows
